The Mail Scanning / Mail Forwarding combo is a simple and efficient service that allows you to see your mail before you actually receive it.

How does the Mail Scanning / Mail Forwarding Program work?

This program requires that you sign and return an authorization form, in which you are agree to grant Delaware Intercorp, Inc. permission to open up all mail that is received for your company. The mail will be scanned and forwarded to you by email as a PDF attachment. The original correspondence will then be sent to you via first class mail.

In most cases, all mail will be scanned and emailed to you on the same day we receive it. It will then be repackaged and forwarded on a weekly basis. We will scan and forward only First Class U.S. letter Mail (No bulk mail, magazines, or courier items). All first class letter mail qualifies for our mail scanning / mail forwarding service. For mailing purposes, one piece of mail is equal to one ounce. If the mail item forwarded is two ounces, it will count as two pieces of mail, and so on. For scanning purposes, one piece of mail is equal to a maximum of 5 scanned pages. If the mail item is greater than 5 pages, it will count as two pieces of mail for every 5 pages (up to a maximum of 20 pages), and so on. Any piece over 20 pages is not eligible to participate in mail scanning. If you use all of your mail pieces within six months, you must upgrade to the next greater volume package.

Our mail scanning / mail forwarding service is intended only for the receipt of 1st class letter mail; however we understand that from time to time you may receive a courier letter addressed to your company. We will forward courier (FedEx, UPS, etc.) letters for a processing fee plus the price of shipping to your location. This additional courtesy service is available to clients who have subscribed to a mail forwarding program at a discounted rate. Please contact us for details on courier letter processing fees.

Mail forwarding services do not constitute a "business address" at our address here in Newark. Our office is the registered address of the company and a mail drop but it is not a business address since you are not doing business here. This is an important distinction.
