As defined by the IRS: The Employer Identification Number (EIN), also referred to as a Federal Tax Identification Number, is used to identify a business entity.
EINs are needed to open bank accounts and when making certain tax elections with the IRS. You do not need an EIN to incorporate. You may wish to discuss your specific circumstances with a tax specialist or check with the IRS for assistance in making this determination.
1). We will provide the IRS SS-4 form (with instructions) to be completed by the applicant.
2). A member of our team will personally submit your application to the IRS to obtain your entity’s EIN.
Once assigned, the EIN is effective immediately. The IRS sends official EIN paperwork and subsequent filing requirements within 2-4 weeks of the form SS-4’s processing.
Cost depends on a variety of factors, and the cost for each client will vary according to their specific needs.
At the time your entity is formed, the EIN procurement service is available for a discounted fee of $70.00.
After your entity has already been formed, the EIN procurement service is $100.00.
If you need an EIN urgently, expedited handling within our office is available for an additional $75.00 fee.
